Tagliata Case Study
Baltimore’s Harbor East neighborhood houses a gem for food and wine enthusiasts. Tagliata is an Italian Chophouse with an elegant environment and Tuscan farmhouse aesthetic. To complete the experience, there is live music played on a 1926 Steinway piano for seven nights a week.
Their exquisite menu, picked by the executive chef & partner Julian Marucci, offers a wide variety of freshly made pastas, hand-cut steaks, fresh seafood, and house-cured charcuterie. Tagliata is also acclaimed for having one of Maryland’s largest wine lists, and were even named one of Wine Enthusiast’s Top 100 Wine Restaurants of 2018 and every year following.
Kloth Studio X Tagliata
In collaboration with Tagliata, Kloth Studio aimed to created good quality uniforms that paired well with the Tuscan farmhouse aesthetic. According to David Goodman, “Tagliata enjoys all the uniforms. They look great and last a long time.”
For Tagliata, our team created a short sleeve button-down denim shirt with a mandarin collar that is an immaculate match to the atmosphere of their restaurant.
Everything about the shirt down to the little details was carefully selected by our design team. The inside collar of the shirt is made with a contrast yellow fabric that perfectly matches the custom logo on the chest of the shirt and other accent details, including contrast sleeve tabs and buttons.
